Brainchild of percussionist Bonjo Iyabinghi Noah and playing experimental mashups of African fusion. Began as a dub reggae act in the early 1980s but very quicklybranched out into many areas from sacred chants to pschedelic trances to chillout grooves. The strong African percussion is the one constant, over layers of electronic grroves, samples, and other assorted goodies.
