My only source of revenue is you the listener. Unlike certain other corporate music sites, I don’t get corporate advertising revenue. What’s more, those corporate sites get sweetheart deals with the record labels to pay far less per song.
And, yeah, please understand, the record labels charge me for every listener to every song. So, if one song gets 100 listeners, I am charged 100 fees. Those pennies add up fast with 12 or more songs an hour 24 hours a day.
